- Placing Bets
- Bets can be placed as singles or multiples.
- The Maximum number of selections in a Multiple is 15.
- The minimum bet online is $/€0.10 or a similar equivalent where a client chooses to maintain their account in a different currency.
- A bet shall be deemed void if it is not transmitted in full.
- Once accepted/ authorised, bets cannot be cancelled or amended in any way by the customer. It is the customer’s sole responsibility to ensure the placed bet is the requested one.
- When a bet is placed and accepted, the corresponding amount is charged against the customer's account.
- Bets are processed in the order they are received.
- Once a client places a bet, they shall receive an acknowledgement which is confirmation of acceptance by the website.
- A number of bets may be treated as being one when a client places multiple copies of the same bet. When this occurs, all bets will be voided apart from the first bet struck. A number of bets that contain the same single selection may be treated as being one. When this occurs, all bets will be voided apart from the first bet struck.
- The Company and the promotions offered to company customers are designed for customers taking part in recreational betting and gaming and if we believe that the bets are being placed or the site is being used for any other reason, other than recreational betting, for example but not limited to fraud, collusion, arbitrage or matched betting, then company reserves the right to refuse or void bets, to refuse to grant a bonus or promotion on an ongoing basis or to close a customer's account without notice and retain the available balance.
- The company reserves the right to decline all or part of any bet without giving a reason at any time.
- In case of any multiples including selections with related outcomes (where the result of one leg influences the outcome of another), if a bet is taken inadvertently the company reserves the right to void a part or the whole bet.
- The company cannot be held responsible for any typing, human, software or palpable error in relation to any product or information provided either on the website or on the relevant third party website to which a client is directed from the company website in order to place his relevant bet. The company reserves the right to void any bet where such a bet has been placed in circumstances where it considers, at its sole discretion, that such an error has occurred.
- Users are not permitted to place bets, directly or indirectly, on events in which they are participating in any manner whatsoever. This includes, but is not limited to sports-players, coaches and club or team managers or employees. The company reserves the right to take all necessary actions, particularly those specified under these General Terms and Conditions, in case a breach of this rule is intercepted or brought to our attention.
- The company reserves the right to void any or all bets made by one person or any group of people acting in liaison in an attempt to defraud and close the related betting accounts. This can include persons, relatives, organisations, bookmakers and their employees.
- In the event of suspicion or evidence of any fraudulent activity; irregular betting patterns or possible insider betting; betting on fixed or known results; manipulation of any kind, the company reserves the right to void all bets involved.
- All bets must be placed and accepted/authorized before the start of the relevant Event. Any bet placed or received after the start of the Event will be voided unless the betting offer is clearly intended to be available after the start of the Event (i.e. live betting). Should a bet be inadvertently accepted after the official starting time of the relevant Event (unless placed on a live betting market) then the bet will be deemed void. Any bet inadvertently accepted where the outcome of an event (or market) has already been determined, including Live Betting, shall be made void, notwithstanding if they win or lose.
- The company reserves the right to suspend betting during or before an event at its sole discretion without cause/ notice.
- Settlement
- The official result is final for settlement purposes except where specific rules state the contrary. Subsequent changes in results, whether due to disciplinary hearings or otherwise are disregarded.
- Bets on selections that do not run for whatever reason may or may not be returned depending on the rules for the individual sport or event.
- Final settlement of bets will be made when the company considers that the final result and settlement has been completed satisfactorily with reference to all available evidence. In the event of a result which is determined as set out above differs from the result used for provisional settlement, settlement may be retrospectively adjusted so as to reflect the result so determined.
- A Dead Heat occurs where two or more participants in an event tie for first and second place. In a Dead Heat the stake money on a selection is divided by the number of runners involved in the Dead Heat. The full odds are then paid to the divided stake, with the remainder of the money lost.
- In the event of a selection is made void, then for single bets the stake will be returned. In accumulative bets the stake will run on to the remaining selections with a Double becoming a Single, a Treble becoming a Double and so on.
- In-Play Betting
- All scoring information on the site is for display purposes only and is not to be used as a basis for settlement. BetRise accepts no responsibility for the correctness of this information and only settles bets according to the official scores, actions and timings of the event.
- BetRise rely on the decisions of the officials acting during the course of the game, match or tournament and these decisions shall be final regardless of whether they are subsequently overturned by appeal or otherwise.
- BetRise makes every attempt to establish a fair assessment of events that transpire during a Live Betting match on a good faith basis with reference to the TV broadcaster's coverage. In the event that a matter requires closer examination, or the TV broadcaster's coverage is interrupted or fails to start on time for whatever reason, or there is a technical failure in the trading facilities available to BetRise's traders, we reserve the right to withhold settlement pending further investigation or to void bets. If coverage has to be abandoned and the match finishes regularly, all markets will be settled according to the final result. If the outcome of a market cannot be verified officially, we reserve the right to void them.
- If it transpires that the TV broadcaster misses one or more events during a match or we settle a bet incorrectly, we reserve the right to make both positive and negative retrospective adjustments to accounts.
- Where BetRise has reason to believe that a bet is placed after the outcome of an event is known, or after the selected participant or team has gained a material advantage (eg. a score, sending off for the other team etc) BetRise reserves the right to void the bet, win or lose.
- If there is no further activity in an event following the acceptance of a Live Betting bet, these bets will be made void, unless specific sports rules state otherwise.
- In the case of any obviously incorrectly displayed or calculated prices, we reserve the right to void betting. This includes a deviation of more than 100% in the pay-out compared to the market average.
- In the case of an incorrect settlement of markets, we reserve the right to correct them anytime.
- If a match does not adhere to the generally accepted format (e.g. unusual period length, counting procedure, format of a match etc.), we reserve the right to void any market.
- If the rules or format of a match differ from our accepted norm, we reserve the right to void any market.
- If a match is not completed or not played (e.g. through disqualification, interruption, withdrawal, changes in draws etc.), all undecided markets are considered void.
- Maximum Payout
- All maximum payout limits apply to each customer, or group of customers acting together, who have placed bets containing the same selections, including where placed in a series of bets, at a range of prices, over a number of days using different betting accounts and/or across different betting channels. Should BetRise has reason to believe that a number of bets have been placed this way, the total payment of all those bets combined will be limited to one single maximum payout.
- The maximum winnings in any 24 hour period are detailed below (winnings are exclusive of stake and currency equivalents apply). Where a multiple bet has been placed which involves events with different maximum payout limits then the lowest limit will apply.
- The maximum amount that can be won by a single customer in one week’s betting is $/€25,000 or currency equivalent.
