BetLong – Game Rules, Trading Terms & Platform Conditions

1. Introduction
   BetLong is a sports trading product where sports teams are represented as virtual stocks. Users trade these stocks directly with the Platform at prices determined and displayed by the Platform.
   BetLong does not offer peer-to-peer trading. All transactions are executed exclusively between the user and the Platform.
   These Game Rules apply specifically to BetLong. In the event of any inconsistency between these Game Rules and any other Platform rules, terms, or policies, these Game Rules shall prevail.
2. Player Eligibility
   1. Players must meet the minimum legal gambling age applicable in their jurisdiction.
   2. Each player is permitted to hold only one account.
   3. All activity must comply with these Rules, the Platform’s Terms and Conditions, and applicable laws and regulations.
3. Trading of Stocks
   1. Each participating sports team is represented on the Platform by a virtual stock.
   2. A stock represents a price-based exposure to a team’s match outcomes as defined by the Platform’s published settlement levels.
   3. Stocks are not securities, financial instruments, or ownership interests and confer no rights other than settlement in accordance with these Rules.
   4. Users buy from or sell to the Platform at the price displayed at the time of the transaction.
   5. Peer-to-peer trading between users is not supported.
   6. User trading activity does not influence or move stock prices.
4. Price Movement and Settlement
   1. Stock prices are driven exclusively by match results and Platform-defined settlement rules, not by user trading activity
   2. For each match, the potential settlement levels corresponding to all possible outcomes are published on the stock details page no later than seventy-two (72) hours before the scheduled kick-off time, where available.
   3. The price at which a user purchases or sells a stock is fixed at the time of the transaction and is honoured.
   4. After the normal completion of a match and confirmation of the official result by the Platform, the stock price automatically adjusts to the pre-announced settlement level applicable to that result.
5. Determination of Match Results
   1. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, match results for BetLong settlement purposes are determined based on the score at the end of regular playing time.
   2. For Football, settlement is based on the result at the end of the scheduled ninety (90) minutes of play, including any added injury or stoppage time. Extra time, penalty shoot-outs, golden goal, or any other tie-breaking procedures are excluded from settlement unless expressly stated otherwise.
   3. For Basketball, settlement is based on any overtime periods unless expressly stated otherwise.
   4. Results are confirmed by the Platform using its designated data sources and, once confirmed, are final and binding for settlement purposes.
6. Trading Availability and Restrictions
   1. Except as stated below, users may buy or sell stocks at any time during open trading periods displayed on the Platform.
   2. From the official kick-off time of a match until the Platform confirms the final result, all trading in the relevant stocks is suspended. This restriction remains in place until the in-play trading feature is introduced.
   3. During in-match suspension, users cannot buy or sell stocks and no user action can affect settlement.
   4. The Platform reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to temporarily suspend buying or selling for specific stocks or markets for risk-management, technical, integrity, or regulatory reasons.
   5. Leveraged positions are automatically closed and settled by the Platform following confirmation of the match result.
   6. Non-leveraged positions may be held by users or sold voluntarily at any permitted time.
7. Special Match Conditions
   1. Match Cancellation
      A match is deemed cancelled if it does not start. Stocks may be rescheduled with new settlement levels.
   2. Match Postponement
      If a match start time is moved prior to kick-off, trading windows and settlement timing may be adjusted accordingly.
   3. Match Interruption
      Trading is suspended during any interruption. If the match does not resume within three (3) hours, it is treated as a cancellation.
   4. Matches Without Settlement Levels
      If settlement levels are not published for a match, no post-match price movement will occur.
8. End of League Season
   1. Upon completion of a league season, the Platform will forcibly liquidate all stocks associated with that league.
   2. The corresponding cash value will be credited to users’ accounts and stock prices reset for the new season.
   3. This process does not affect users’ total account assets beyond normal settlement mechanics.
9. Fair Play, Integrity, and Technical Issues
   1. Any attempt to manipulate prices, exploit system vulnerabilities, or gain unfair advantage is strictly prohibited.
   2. The Platform may void trades, adjust balances, or suspend or terminate accounts in cases of rule violations or technical malfunction.
   3. The Platform is not responsible for losses caused by user-side connectivity or device failures.
10. Dispute Resolution
    1. Any dispute relating to settlement, prices, or Platform decisions must be raised in accordance with the Platform’s Terms and Conditions.
    2. The Platform’s determination of outcomes and settlement is final and binding.
11. Responsible Gaming
    1. Users are encouraged to participate responsibly and within their financial means.
    2. Responsible gaming tools, including self-exclusion, apply to BetLong in the same manner as to other products on the Platform.
12. Currency and Settlement
    1. All trades and settlements are conducted in the Platform’s designated currency.
    2. Settlements are normally processed within ten (10) minutes of match conclusion. In exceptional circumstances, settlement may take longer but will not exceed twelve (12) hours.
13. Amendments
    1. The Platform may amend these Game Rules at any time.
    2. Amendments take effect upon publication on the Platform.
